A business resource library is a digital collection of industry-related content such as e-books, worksheets, information sheets, guides, live video, tutorials, blog posts, webinars, training, freebies of business owners and entrepreneurs for the purpose of educating their target audience about building an online (or offline) business.

If you’re blogging, podcasting, video marketing, you’re creating a resource library. If you’ve been creating consistent content by any of these means for a while (5 years or more) you should have a huge library. If you’re new, you should start to gradually build your library daily, weekly, bi-weekly on a consistent basis on a frequency of your choice. In this video, I will provide 3 simple steps to get started creating your resource library. They are as follows:

1. Get clear on who your target demographic is, the group of people you want to serve and find them (where they hang out).
2. Find out their needs. What do they want to know? What do they need to know?
3. Create Content based on your studies, observations, and conversations in niche audience Facebook group and discussion forums and the response to questions you have asked individuals in your target market.
