Judy is a natural hair stylist. She loves to care for women’s hair in its natural state. Her target demographic is African-American Women. She offers tips for African-American Women with 4C textured hair via YouTube. Judy’s Audience wants and needs tips for caring for and managing natural 4C hair. Judy’s audience is looking for products that specifically for natural 4C hair. Below are some questions that Judy would ask to determine her specific niche market.
- WHAT AM I (Judy) GOOD AT? Natural hair care.
- WHAT DO I (Judy)LOVE TO DO? I love to care for hair in its natural state.
- WHAT DOES MY (Judy’s) AUDIENCE WANT OR NEED? WHAT ARE THEIR PROBLEMS AND PAIN POINTS? Natural hair care management and styling tips for African-American Women with 4C hair to help the audience to better manage and care for their natural hair and how to solve problems that arise with 4C natural hair care and management.
- WHAT ARE MY (Judy’s) AUDIENCE WILLING TO PAY FOR? Products to help African-American Women better manage, style and properly care for natural 4C hair.
WHY IS FINDING MY NICHE IMPORTANT IN RELATION TO CONTENT CREATION AND MARKETING?
ANSWER: Finding my right niche in relation to content creation and marketing is important because I will be able to create the right type of content, that educates about my products and services; that correctly addresses my target demographic based on their needs and preferences, identifying pain points and solving their problems.
